Notes from Worley Street Roundtable community meeting
19 people attend the meeting at El Centro Latino, beginning at 2:00.
After introductions, we had two excellent presentations from high school students who are participating in studies at MU. They are addressing learning about options for career progress and how to have more involvement and communication.
An energetic group discussion focused on issues of assimilation and involvement for students and their families, how the school system can have more communications so people know their options and how to make input.
Worley Street Roundtable is partnering with many non-profits and others to advocate and support scholars, their families and teachers to connect the community and the school system.
